The College’s women and gender studies program provides a broad-based community for interdisciplinary scholarship and inquiry focusing on women, gender, and sexualities. Students analyze gender as an organizing factor in social, political, and familial institutions and policy. The program also addresses gender-specific social injustices and strives to initiate social change from local and global perspectives.
