Junior thrower David Dobrowolski has been named the Empire 8 Field Athlete of the Week after an impressive performance at Utica's Blue and Orange Invitational.

Merritt Holly claimed his second Empire 8 Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week award this season after powering Nazareth to a perfect 3-0 stretch.

Katie MacLachlan picked up her second Empire 8 Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week honor of the year after guiding the Golden Flyers to a 3-0 week, averaging 18.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and two steals per game.

Blake Frost earned Empire 8 Men's Ice Hockey Co-Player of the Week honors after leading Nazareth with seven points on two goals and five assists across three contests.

Kiara Tornusciolo earned Empire 8 Women's Indoor Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week honors after winning the pole vault at the Conference Challenge Cup.

Freshman right-side hitter Sean Frawley made an immediate impact for the Golden Flyers, earning Empire 8 Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week honors. Frawley showcased his all-around game, contributing both offensively and defensively in two wins over the weekend.

Ellen Burroughs delivered a standout performance for the Golden Flyers, helping lead Nazareth past Penn State Behrend and earning Empire 8 Swimmer of the Week honors.

Amy Laskowski turned in a strong weekend performance for the Golden Flyers, helping lead Nazareth to a pair of victories over Chatham and earning Empire 8 Player of the Week honors in women's hockey.

Senior setter AJ Burda had a weekend to remember, guiding the Golden Flyers to a 2-0 record and earning Empire 8 Men's Volleyball Player of the Week honors. Burda's leadership and all-around play at setter were key in keeping the Golden Flyers on top throughout the weekend, earning him well-deserved Player of the Week recognition.

Rachel Benedict named Empire 8 Rookie of the Week for the week ending December 11. Benedict finished with 22 points (8-for-13) en route the win over Wells. She also pulled down nine rebounds and dished out a career-high five assists.

Samantha Peebles named Empire 8 Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending December 11. Peebles scored a career-high 22 points (6-of-8), including going 4-for-5 from 3-point range, to help Nazareth to an 88-67 win over Wells on Tuesday. The four 3-pointers was also a single game high. She also had seven rebounds, five assists and one steal in the victory.

Matt Battaglia has been named Empire 8 Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 11. Battaglia won the 1,000-meter run and was part of the winning 4 x 400 relay at the RIT Early Season Invite on Thursday. He clocked a 2:37.95 in the 1,000 to take first. The senior teamed up with Jacob Murray, Jenoy Merchant and Nathaniel Murad to claim the top spot in 4 x 400 relay (3:35.50), over three seconds ahead of RIT.

Samantha Goble has been named Empire 8 Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 11. Goble won the 1,000-meter run on the women's side and helped the 4 x 400 relay finish second at the RIT Early Season Invite. She clocked an ECAC qualifying time of 3:10.53 in the 1,000 in her first-ever running of the event. The 4 x 400 relay was edged by .03 seconds by Roberts Wesleyan.

Cody Green (Men's Basketball) has been named Empire 8 Rookie of the Week for the week ending December 4. Green scored in double figures in all three games for Nazareth, going an impressive 12-for-19 (.632) from 3-point range. He started off the week with a career-high 17 points, including going 5-of-6 from 3-point land, in Nazareth's win over Alfred State. On Friday, he poured in 11 points on 3-for-5 from downtown against RIT. He closed out the week with 15 points on 4-for-8 from 3-point.

Tyler Stenglein has been awarded Empire 8 Athlete of the Week Stenglein averaged 18.7 points, 3.7 assists and eight rebounds per game in a 1-2 week for Nazareth on 19-of-35 (.543 percent) from the floor. He notched 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a 69-54 win over Alfred State on Tuesday. He followed that up with a 24-point game, with eight rebounds and three assists in an 87-79 loss to RIT on Friday in the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout. Nazareth freshman Brian Miller has been named the ECAC West Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 13.

Nazareth freshman forward Rachel Benedict has been named the Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week, for the week ending November 20.

Drew Simoneau, member of the men's lacrosse team, is one of Nazareth College's Athletes of the Week for the period ending April 27 and the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week for the period ending April 26. Simoneau reached 1,000 face-off wins for his career in a pair of Empire 8 Conference wins. He won 12 of 14 face-offs with 11 ground balls in a 29-0 win over Houghton. Simoneau then captured 12 of 19 face-offs in a 16-6 win at St. John Fisher.

Haley DeVona, member of the women's lacrosse team, is one of Nazareth College's Athletes of the Week for the period ending April 27. DeVona scored two goals and had four assists in a 21-3 home-field win over Alfred. In a 13-12 win against Stevens, she added four goals, including one in overtime, and one assist. DeVona leads the Golden Flyers in scoring with 52 points on 35 goals and 17 assists.

Luke Lawatsch, member of Nazareth College's men's volleyball team, is named to the United Volleyball Conference first team 2015 All-American team that was selected by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. He was a first-team selection in 2013 and a second-team choice in 2014. Lawatsch leads the Golden Flyers and is ranked fourth nationally with a .441 hitting percentage (191-46-329). He also ranks fifth nationally with 1.22 blocks per set. He ranks second all-time at Nazareth with a .410 hitting percentage.

Tim Zyburt, member of Nazareth College's men's volleyball team, is one of Nazareth's Scholar-Athletes for the month of March and earned United Volleyball Conference (UVC) honors for the period ending March 29. Lastly, the UVC recognized Zyburt on the first team 2015 all-star team for the conference.

Hannah Brackley, member of the women's track and field team, is one of Nazareth College's Athletes of the Week for the period ending April 13 and is the Empire 8 Conference Track Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 12. Brackley helped Nazareth set school and stadium records in the 4 x 400-meter relay with a winning time of 4:01.36 as Nazareth hosted the annual ROC City Invitational at the Golden Flyer Stadium. She also finished second in the 200-meter dash (:26.05) and third in the 400-meter dash (:59.02).
