Rochester Mayor Malik Evans celebrates youth development leaders in the Rochester community, April 26

He issues a youth worker appreciation proclamation at Nazareth College at 6 p.m. on Tuesday

Rochester, NY (04/25/2022) — WHAT: Nazareth College welcomes Rochester Mayor Malik Evans '17G to campus on Tuesday, April 26, as he celebrates the caring adults who are community youth development professionals. Mayor Evans will offer a Youth Worker appreciation proclamation to honor the local Rochester youth workers who serve in our community as well as mentor Nazareth College students in the community youth development program.

Mayor Evans will share his memories and appreciation for the vital contribution of youth development professionals who give of their time, energy, and enthusiasm to 'grow' the next generation of young people. As an adolescent, the mayor benefited from the wisdom and guidance of one such youth development professional who now serves in his cabinet.
