Nazareth College School of Business and Leadership hosts Women's Leadership Workshop Series, March 5, April 2, and April 30

Rochester, NY (02/09/2022) — The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted women's careers disproportionately, as news reports of the "she-cession" and low workplace participation rates not seen since the '80s remain alarmingly persistent. Nazareth College's new workshop series aims to offer young women professionals the tools to navigate their careers and thrive.

Presented by Nazareth's School of Business and Leadership, Nazareth's Women's Leadership Workshop Series will focus on skills and tools to advance as effective, successful, and fulfilled leaders.

For three Saturday mornings this spring, beginning March 5, the workshops tackle top-of-mind issues like overcoming self-esteem issues to achieve career goals, making meaningful connections and build relationships in your field, and the dynamics of authenticity and cultural norms and values in the context of today's workplace.

The workshops are March 5, April 2, and April 30, from 9 a.m. - noon in Peckham Hall on Nazareth's campus (4245 East Avenue, Rochester, N.Y., 14618). Workshops may be taken individually for $150 per workshop or at a discount for $400 total when you register for all three. For employees of nonprofit - 501(c)(3) - organizations, enrollment in individual workshops costs $25 each, and the combination of all 3 workshops is $50. Details and registration: go.naz.edu/wlw.
