Nazareth College Art Department to celebrate faculty artists and local artist Lynne Feldman with a reception Friday, September 15
Rochester, NY (09/14/2017) — The Nazareth College Art Department is pleased to present two outstanding exhibits: the Faculty Art Show 2017 in the Arts Center Gallery through September 24, 2017; and Lynne Feldman: Journey in the Colacino Art Gallery September 16 through October 22, 2017.
Artist receptions for both exhibits will take place on Friday, September 16, from 5-7 p.m. in the galleries. All events are free and open to the public.
Faculty Art Show 2017
The Faculty Art Show is an annual exhibition featuring work by Nazareth College Art Department faculty in a variety of styles and media-including ceramics, illustration, jewelry, metalworking, printmaking, painting, photography, sculpture, and more.

Lynne Feldman: Journeys
A love of color, pattern and fabric and a workshop in Vermont ten years ago led artist Lynne Feldman into an entirely different way of working, incorporating fabric into her paintings and then painting them in acrylics. These artworks document both her journeys to many parts of the world and the inner journey of the creative process.
