Nazareth BFA seniors present thesis work in "Inhabitance" gallery show

Rochester, NY (04/05/2019) — The Nazareth College Art Department is pleased to present the 2019 Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition, Inhabitance, with an opening reception on Friday, April 26 at 5 p.m. in the Colacino Gallery, located on the campus of Nazareth College at 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, 14618. The exhibition runs through Sunday, May 5 (the gallery is closed Mondays and Tuesdays). As a requirement for graduation, all seniors in the BFA program present their thesis work at the annual exhibition.

Inhabitance will showcase the work of BFA graduating seniors Theresa Foti and Jenna Rossborough in a variety of media, including ceramic sculpture, painting, and printmaking. The title, Inhabitance, refers to the fact that both artists are concerned with shape and form and the perceived energy emanating from it. Jenna Rossborough explores this theme through wheel-thrown stacked forms. Theresa Foti uses color and gesture to create "the music of action."

The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Some pieces will be available for purchase.
