Rochester, NY (03/14/2017) — More than 675 high school students from 26 schools around the region are set to gain a greater understanding of the issues of religion and culture that occur in their communities and around the world when they attend the 7th Annual Global Citizenship Conference on March 14, from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., at Nazareth College. The Hickey Center for Interfaith Studies and Dialogue conference is titled Love Your Neighbor, Love Yourself. This subject resonates strongly in the Nazareth community which has always placed a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. Participants will receive valuable education about peaceful co-existence in a pluralistic society--a timely subject in a world rocked by issues of religious and cultural intolerance.
