Nazareth to celebrate official transition to University status & unveil new visual identity on May 31
Ceremony at Nazareth campus to feature alumni from past five decades
Rochester, NY (05/24/2023) — Nazareth College will celebrate one of the biggest moments in its 99-year history on May 31 - as it officially transitions from college to university status - with a special ceremony to unveil Nazareth's new name and visual identity. While the intention to transition to university status was announced last fall, this event marks the final step in a lengthy process to secure approval from the New York State Board of Regents for the name change, which will take effect June 1 at 12 midnight.
