Rochester, NY (03/24/2020) — As information surrounding the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, the Nazareth College Arts Center has made the difficult decision to cancel all remaining events in the 2019-2020 Arts Center Season.
Events impacted by this decision include the remaining events on the Arts Center's Series: Calidore String Quartet (April 4), The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System (May 2), and Rochester City Ballet: The Ugly Duckling (May 16 & 17). We are working hard to reschedule these remaining events and will make an announcement if and when they are finalized.
In addition, the Theatre and Dance Department performances, including the Spring Dance Concert (March 27 & 28) and Chaplin (April 16-19), Art and Design Department Gallery Exhibitions, and all School of Music concerts and recitals are canceled through the end of the semester.
The Nazareth College Arts Center Box Office in-person and phone transactions are currently suspended. We will alert our patrons when we resume normal box office operations. If you have ticket-related questions email artscenter@naz.edu or call 585-389-2172. Please be patient as our response time to both email and voicemail has increased during this time.
Finally, as we shift our focus to keeping our community safe through this crisis, we have chosen to postpone the announcement of our 2020-2021 Arts Center Season, which was scheduled to be announced April 1. While our new announcement date has not been finalized, we look forward to sharing next year's line-up of incredible music, dance, comedy, theatre, and family entertainment. While these are difficult decisions to make, we look forward to once again safely gathering to experience live performances together.
