Michaela Soules of Camden, NY, Named One of Nazareth College's Athletes of the Week

Michaela Soules of Camden, NY, has been named one of Nazareth College's Athletes of the Week for the week ending 10/13/2014. Soules, member of the women's soccer team, had a goal and added two assists in a 3-1 home-field victory over Hartwick. She set up Nazareth's first two goals, each on crossing passes to Christine Belding. She later scored Nazareth's third goal as she headed in a corner kick off the foot of Courtney Malia. Soules leads the Golden Flyers in scoring with 15 points on 4 goals, 7 assists.

Soules is a sophomore physical therapy major at Nazareth and is competing in her second season as a Golden Flyer. In 2013, she was named as a second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star and Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week.
