Matthew Leverich of Skaneateles, NY, Participated in Summer Research at Nazareth College

Matthew Leverich of Skaneateles, NY, worked with six other Nazareth College students this summer on three research projects aimed at improving the efficiency of biodiesel synthesis.

All three groups made extensive progress in: synthesis, purification, and characterization of their desired products.

The work initiated this summer will continue this fall and the students engaged will present their findings at the fall meeting of the Rochester Academy of Sciences meeting at SUNY Brockport on November 15, 2014.
