2013 Dec 3

Matthew Allen of West Winfield, NY is among the musical theatre majors from the Nazareth College Department of Theatre Arts who will present A Sparklejollytwinklejingley Holiday Winter Wonderland Extravaganza. The show, which captures the holiday spirit and wraps it up neatly in one little bow, will be performed on Tuesday, December 10 at 7 p.m. in the Masters Family Community Theater (room A13), located in the lower level of the Nazareth College Arts Center.

This benefit--presented by the junior class of the Nazareth College musical theatre program, under the direction of musical theatre director Don Kot--will support TOYS FOR TOTS by accepting unwrapped toys up until the performance on December 10. The TOYS FOR TOTS objective is to collect unwrapped toys during the months of October, November, and December and present them to less fortunate children in the community. The TOYS FOR TOTS toy donation box is located in front of the Nazareth College Arts Center Box Office.

The family friendly performance of A Sparklejollytwinklejingley Holiday Winter Wonderland Extravaganza includes favorite holiday hits like "Baby, It's Cold Outside," "Santa Baby," "Ring Them Bells," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out," "White Christmas," and others! The evening will also feature a reading of the classic Christmas tale "Twas The Night Before Christmas!"

With the holiday season already upon us, A Sparklejollytwinklejingley Holiday Winter Wonderland Extravaganza, promises to warm the hearts of all who attend and put them in the giving mood. Avid lover of Christmas and Nazareth College junior musical theatre major, Bella McGrath, explains: "The show is very entertaining and uplifting; I encourage everyone to bring their children and experience what the holidays are all about: coming together and celebrating with the ones we love."
