Mark Zavorin Named to ECAC West Honor Roll

Mark Zavorin of Moscow, Russia, has been named to the ECAC West Honor Roll for the period ending February 2. Zavorin, member of the men's ice hockey team, helped the Golden Flyers rally for a 4-3 win over Hobart as he scored a pair of power play goals as Nazareth came back from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2. Trailing 2-0 late in the first period, Zavorin scored with less than two minutes remaining in the first period and again at 5:20 of the second period. Zavorin ranks third on the team in scoring with 14 points on 4 goals and 10 assists. He leads the Golden Flyers in scoring over his two seasons at Nazareth with 40 points on 16 goals, 24 assists.

Zavorin is a Biochemistry major at Nazareth College.
