Kassandra Buseck of Johnstown, NY, Earns Nazareth College's Athlete of the Week Honor

Kassandra Buseck of Johnstown, NY, earns Nazareth College's Athlete of the Week honor. Buseck, member of the women's volleyball team, erupted for a career-high 25 kills in a five-set Empire 8 Conference victory over Houghton. She also had two service aces, seven digs and three blocks. She leads the team with 181 kills overall (3.07 per set).

Buseck is a senior psychology major at Nazareth College and is playing in her fourth season as a Golden Flyer. She earned Empire 8 Player of the Week honors twice in 2013 and was named as a first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star.
