Heather Aprile of Dansville Awarded an Internship in Italy

Heather Aprile of Dansville, NY, has been awarded a paid SITE scholarship for an eight-month internship in a secondary school in Lombardy, Italy. She will be working in Milano, at the Convitto Longone High School as a teaching assistant for English instruction with secondary school students. The internship will give her a better understanding of the Italian language and culture, while assisting Italian teachers with their work in the classroom.

To prepare for her internship, Aprile is participating in the Nazareth College Summer Program in Pescara, Italy.
