Nazareth's Educational Partners Network

Rochester, NY (09/21/2017) — Nazareth College is helping members of the Rochester area workforce earn their master's degrees in education and business with a tuition discount as part of a new Educational Partner Network (EPN).

Nazareth partners with organizations to provide their employees/members with a tuition discount - typically 20% - and opportunities for professional development, career advancement, network building, and acquisition of necessary, relevant skills that benefit both the employee and employer. The EPN already has more than 15 partners to date including Paychex, Rochester City School District, Monroe #1 BOCES, ESL, and Rochester Women's Network.

With only 10 percent of professionals holding advanced degrees, the Educational Partner Network can help employees start down the road to earning a master's degree for those in the partner workplaces.

"Nazareth is excited to connect with area organizations in a mutually beneficial way. There are no strings attached, Nazareth doesn't charge anything for an employer to become a member of the Educational Partner Network," said Jori Cincotta, Graduate Enrollment Representative. "If someone is seeking an advanced degree in education, human resources, management, or marketing, we will be happy to speak with them about the steps their organization can take to becoming an educational partner with Nazareth."

The 20% discount saves graduate student Eric Rowland about $1,000 a year. "That partnership agreement did help alleviate the financial stress," says Rowland, 31, a production supervisor at SPX Flow industrial mixer company in Rochester who is pursuing a master's degree in management at Nazareth. His company offers tuition reimbursement that covers two courses a year, and the Nazareth partner discount helps him take more classes to complete his degree more quickly.

Nazareth's tuition discount for partner employees/members is in addition to any employer tuition benefits.
