Rochester, NY (01/14/2019) — Nazareth College is announcing a new partnership with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Ranked among the best medical schools for primary care by U.S. News & World Report, LECOM is the most-applied-to medical school in the country. Prospective students may apply to Nazareth College to major in biomedical sciences and at the same time apply for either the medical school program or dental school program at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM).

"Nazareth provides students with a solid foundation for medical and dental school through rigorous academic preparation, intensive research opportunities and personal attention from faculty advisors," said Professor Steve Tajc, who oversees Nazareth's pre-med program. "Along with waiving the MCAT and some financial benefits, this is a rare opportunity for high performing, motivated prospective students to secure a seat in medical school at the same time they are accepted into their undergraduate degree program."
