Nazareth College invites community residents to be part of its Night Flyers Campus Community Band

Rochester, NY (09/02/2021) — Nazareth's NEW Night Flyers Campus Community Band is open to alumni and other Rochester area residents with proof of COVID-19 vaccination, as well as to students and employees. This in-person, non-auditioned concert band meets Wednesday nights (7:15-8:45 p.m.) on campus and gives one performance a semester. If interested, contact Steven Zugelder, zugeld3@naz.edu.

Participants must:

  • be able to read music
  • have at least two years' experience playing the instrument
  • have use of a personally owned or rented instrument

Rehearsals begin September 8, 2021; inquiries are still welcome after that date. The fall performance will be Wednesday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m., in Beston Hall (also livestreamed), in a concert that also will include Nazareth's Symphonic Band.
