Nazareth College has first-ever Goat Yoga class on campus, Thursday, Oct. 21

Rochester, NY (10/20/2021) — WHAT: Nazareth College students can de-stress and get outdoors with the first-ever Goat Yoga class on campus! It's open to all students - they just have to grab a yoga mat or towel and join the goats on the George Hall lawn at Nazareth. There will be four adorable goats with the yoga instructor, along with a goat handler, coming from NY Goat Yoga in New Berlin, N.Y.

Goat yoga is therapeutic and fun! It's the same as regular yoga with the addition of friendly goats wandering around, jumping on you, and trying to kiss you as you attempt your best yoga poses! NY Goat Yoga and their adorable, and pretty famous, goats have been featured on "Dr. Oz," "The Untitled Action Bronson Show," "Inside Edition," "Daybreaker NYC," WPIX11, "Cycle of Health," Self Magazine Online, BInspired In-Flight Magazine, Jessie On A Journey Travel Blog, Nippon Television Network, International News Report, The Daily Star, Hometown Oneonta, Exploring Upstate New York Blog, The Points Guy Travel Blog and many more.

Goat Yoga at Nazareth is sponsored by Nazareth's Health & Counseling, Residence Hall Council, and Student & Campus Life.

WHEN: Thursday, October 21, 4-5 p.m.

WHERE: Nazareth College | George Hall lawn (ask Julie Long for directions)

**If raining, it will be under the pavilion

MEDIA: We'd love to have you attend and talk to our health and counseling team, along with a student or two.

Please contact Julie Long, PR officer, to let me know if you're interested in attending. My cell is (585) 781-8186.
