Fourth Annual Rochester Teen Summit to Take Place at Nazareth College

Rochester, NY (04/11/2018) — On Saturday, April 28, teens and young adults from across the Greater Rochester region will come together at Nazareth College to share research, stories, and "calls for action" for the purpose of working together to improve our community. The event will be held in the Shults Center from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Rochester Teen Summit is free and open to the public. Nazareth College is located at 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, N.Y., 14618.

The summit will feature a series of 10-minute creative and interactive "TED Talk" style presentations by young adults from Nazareth College's Adolescence Education and Community Youth Development Programs, Webster Schroeder High School, School Without Walls, Our Lady of Mercy High School, East High School, Avalon School, Roc Kids Connect, and LifePrep@Naz.

Among this year's topics are: mental health, drug abuse, sexual harassment, body image, youth citizenship, students with disabilities, connecting suburban and urban students, and slam poetry.
